Flash pattern renderer - finally on video

A few months ago I wrote a script in flash that would turn a bitmap image into a pattern.
After playing around with it in photoshop I realized it might look interesting on video.

At the time I didn't know how to solve solve of the necessary problems, but through work I managed to pick up a few key things. So today I got to a point where I could test it all.
